We are pleased to inform you that NYC Parks is hiring for several positions that are located on Staten Island – the Borough of Parks! At NYC Parks, our mission is to plan resilient and sustainable parks, public spaces, and recreational amenities, build a park system for the present and future generations, and care for parks and public spaces.

The seasonal positions include:
- Carpenter – Boardwalk Repair – Duties include repairing the FDR Boardwalk ensuring it is safe for all patrons
- Maintenance Worker – Boardwalk Repair – Duties include maintaining the FDR Boardwalk and assisting with repairs
The full-time positions include the following and will be assigned to the new Mary Cali Dalton Recreation Center. This center is scheduled to be completed this summer.
- City Park Worker (Staten Island)
- City Seasonal Aide (Staten Island)
- Recreation Specialist (Staten Island)
- Playground Associate (Staten Island)
NYC Parks staff will also be available for any questions at two job fairs happening next week.
- Staten Island College & Career Expo on March 11th at 2 PM, Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, 625 Capodanno Blvd, SI, NY 10305
- College of Staten Island Career Fair on March 12th at 10 AM, Hilton Garden Inn, 1100 South Avenue, SI, NY 10314
