NYC Parks Spring 2026 Perimeter Cleanups
NYC Parks conducts seasonal perimeter cleanups throughout the borough’s large parks
to remove litter, assist with debris removal, and address any immediate tree conditions.
Due to safety concerns, the roadways surrounding the park perimeters will be closed for
the cleanups.
All cleanups will occur from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a 9:30 a.m. muster as
follows:

• March 25 –
  o Phase 1: Rockland Ave. from Nugent St. to Manor Rd.
• April 1 –
  o Phase 2: Rockland Ave. from Brielle Ave. to Manor Rd.
• April 15 –
  o Phase 3: Brielle Ave. from Greenbelt Recreation Center to Rockland Ave.
  (10 a.m. -12 p.m.)
  o Rockland Ave. from Brielle Ave. to Forest Hill Rd. (12 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
• April 22 –
  o Forest Hill Rd. from Richmond Ave. to Ashworth Ave.
• April 29 –
  o Travis Ave. from Draper Pl. to Victory Blvd.
• May 6 –
  o (Snake Hill) Richmond Hill Rd. from Arthur Kill Rd. to Forest Hill Rd.
• May 10 (Sunday) –
  o Goethals Rd. N to Forest Ave.
