South Beach Civic Association

Staten Island, NY

Updates

Hope you all are enjoying your summer with friends and family keeping your distance and wearing your Masks.   I know these are exceedingly difficult times and I assure you my heart goes out to all of you. In time, this too shall pass so we have to try and have a positive attitude and reach out to one another with a caring mindset. It has been a few months since we have had a meeting and we miss each and everyone one you dearly. Sadly, our 19th Educational Picnic had to be cancelled on July 18th due to the COVID -19 and at this time we are anticipating seeing if it is possible to resume the South Beach Civic meetings.

But most of all we feel the loss of so many unfortunate fellow Staten Islanders we have lost to this terrible virus.  Our prayers are with them all, their families, essential rescue workers near and far as well. I want to also thank all of you for your kind words and thoughts for Roe when her mom had passed, Thank you.

The South Beach Civic Association has been working closely with all our essential workers, agencies and, elected officials during this crisis. We have donated $500.00 to 50/50 Skatepark to produce face masks for our first responders, $500.00 to the Holy Rosary Church. And $100.00 to the All In Challenge Fund.

Please be safe, wear your masks, keep your distance, and wash your hands.   If any concerns or issues, please feel free to contact me at 718-930-6603 thank you and be safe.

Respectfully, Joseph McAllister President of the South Beach Civic Association. Do not worry be happy, it is another Beautiful Day that we are all here.
