We have a new union construction pre-apprentice class set to begin in May, with testing for applicants starting as early as Wednesday. This will be the first of many opportunities for residents to once again apply for this unique training opportunity. Your constituents who are on the wait list at the Sandy Recovery Workforce1 Center will be contacted accordingly.

HRO is asking that elected and community leaders assist our efforts in informing as many Sandy impacted New Yorkers as possible of free, construction training available to those residents who seek careers in union construction.

Attached is a flyer with more information. Classes will occur throughout the next several months. Interested individuals must first visit their local Workforce1 Center. It is a message we ask you continue to share over the next four months and beyond.
